Another grey day!

It is now well and truly September complete with all night rain and grey mornings.
Where is the Indian summer that they keep promising?
Where are the sun filled warm days ?

well its not really something that we have experiences with regularity this season that's for sure!


Things are hotting up in the countdown to the one day series against The West Indies, and when I say hotting up, I mean a few people will be hot under the collar  when they see that Jason Roy has been named in the squad.
He has been unable to get past 20 runs in the last few outings , so I ask the question, Why????

Obviously every man and his dog wants a chance to get to Australia this winter, but, hell, do we want to win the Ashes?
He is said to be vying for his 'spot' in the team.

Official; seat warmer???

As the County Championship match begins today at Headingley between my boys and Harry's boys, I note that Steven Finn has signed a new contract with Middlesex.


The weather for all those heading down there today does not look too inspiring, but then again it looks the same all over the North of England.

This is a must win match for the boys and the weather needs to pull its socks up and dry up!

I will be keeping a beady eye on all the proceedings.

Over in France, Dame Didi got pulled over by the Gendarmes and breathalysed yesterday when she was on her way TO the Champagne House!!!!
I think that they  are keeping an eye on her!!!!

Well best be off and away lots to do today.
