And that's it for this year!

Well our season is over as is the season for most of the clubs. Surrey and Essex are battling it out today  but that is just for points. we are currently sitting 4th in the table which is good considering the predicament 2 weeks ago!

The ups and downs have been decided and now time for  the winter of hard work.

In the 2nd division, Durham lost to Middx .

Warwickshire won the title, giving Ryan Sidebottom another trophy.............this time the other Ryan Sidebottom., although in fairness there is only one!

We say goodbye to a lot of players this season, one being our very own Andrew Hodd,

If you ever tweet about him you usually get responses from far and wide saying what a lovely man he is.
And he is. He has been a valuable part of the Yorkshire squad.
He will be missed.

Work/home life balance is still not what I would like and although we are no nearer to D day, it is not looking too good at the moment.

What will the winter hold for us?

I've sorted out the things that are to be done on the dark evenings and now I just have to find some energy to do them, easier said than done.

Ah well time to head to the saltmines.

There has to be a better way to earn a crust!
