So this morning we are having a very quick round up as I am up early and have lots to do.
Sadly yesterday Hoddy did not make his century but he had put on a fabulous display of batting in what could be his last FC match EVER!.
Today they need 411 runs to win and were 2 wickets down at the close of play. we need Kane Williamson to show us what we are paying him for.
Hampshire are struggling as Essex made them follow on.
Over in the 2nd division, it seems that Middlesex may be changing their name to 'lazarus CCC' after an amazing turnaround in fortunes. they literally seem to be coming back from the dead after beating Sussex in 3 day.
Notts have signed Ben Duckett so that puts paid to the rumour that was circulating that he was coming to Yorkshire.
There does seem to be a lot of information leaked across the board in cricket and loose lips are not always correct.
after T20 finals day was decided it was seen that only 500 tickets per club were allocated to their fans, the other 2000,0000000000 tickets were obviously for hospitality and all the dosh that this brings in. However the ECB are now goign to review the allocation of tickets. Probably an extra 10 per club!
Test match news, Moeen is the hero at the moment with his bowling.
