And its Tuesday morning and I am exhausted due to being kept awake most of the night by howling wind, which is still going on now!
I have yet to look out of the window and see what else is going on out there, but it doesn't bode well!
I've been reading through the aftermath of the Australia v India test series. The Aussies are of course blaming everything but their own inadequacies,although Finch did say that he wasn't up to form, something that some Yorkshire fans know well.
It will be interesting to see how the team look in the ODI series.
Quite a few of the former international players have been having a swipe at selectors too so it will be interesting to see if they get back into the squad.
Over here Worcestershires Alex Hepburn is in court and it makes for very uncomfortable reading. Whatever the verdict is, it shows a worrying culture which has always been around but has now been supercharged with social media/communication platforms.
I am now out of the door and off to the saltmines, which are totally depleted, 5 office boys down with lurgy and also the secretary. That does not bode well for the rest of us! As you know what goes around at the saltmines usually knocks me for 6!
