So after the longest and most difficult week in a long time, it is 'Fry up'day, the decision was made yesterday that instead of the usual bacon butties from Big Al, the remaining office boys are going for the 'Big Al fry up box' this morning.
I on the other had will be having beans on toast.
Its to be hoped that the England team have their weetabix this morning!
Yesterday was a day in the Caribbean that gave a lesson in humility for the boys.
I had read all the hacks slating the West Indies, well I am sure that humble pie was on the menu at hotels in Barbados last night.
As if you didn't know England were bowled out for 77, I won the office sweep on how many runs Jennings would get, although to be fair he was the highest scorer!
The conversation about Jennings in the office was not favourable. And we all know that if his father hadn't lost his job with SA cricket, Jennings would not be wearing 3 Lions!
I still love Daddy Jennings being interviewed when Baby Jennings made his debut and being asked if he had always wanted to play for England................worst case of dead air time ever!
however none of this is an excuse for the state of the England innings.
Fair play to the Windies though!
And of course it wouldn't be a collapse if Boycott didn't throw his two penneth worth in .
