Sunday stroll

So after yesterdays meet up and breakfast with my chums, a couple of us decided to have an early morning stroll around the old part of the town.

It was still dark when I left the chateau, and cold and windy ( the wind has been howling all night), so off we went, heading out to the Great North Road, chattering 50 to the dozen.
just over an hour later and lots of steps, we all parted company after putting the world to rights.

If only it was that easy.

So now back at the chateau, breakfast is cooking and I am about to start the bed stripping, I may even get things dried outside if the wind continues.

Over in the cricket, South Africa saw Pakistan all out for 185 and were  themselves1967-6, I must get the TV on to watch this game.

Listening to Tom Harrison on 5 live and his views on Ben Stokes.  This conversation has been already spoken about but its actually quote cringe worthy to listen to him talking about Stokes as if he is some absolute super hero.
Let see if the ECB can have some control over the conduct of cricketers, I suspect that now is the time with all that has gone on and come to light.

Well this will not get the washing  done, so time to head off and get organised.
Busy day with lunch out and cinema later.

Have a great day.
