Leather on willow
 stumpings and catches
 fast bowlers run up and nerve wracking matches
the days play starting as the bell rings
These are a few of my favourite things

Cable knit sweaters and crisp cricket whites
Red balls and white balls
A win in our sights
cheering loudly hoping luck it brings

Friends on the boundary, drinking a martini
Escaping relegation, known as doing a  Houdini
Wishing away winters, living for Springs
These are a few of my favourite things

When the team lose
When the rain falls
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favourite things
And then I don't feel so bad
