When CG got into power,
His thirst for change started to flower
'A new format we'll make,
Pull in money with a rake'
he decreed from his ivory tower.
Where once he was known for 'Costcutter',
Now his comments make everyone splutter.
'Woman can come to the game,
though its really a shame
they would be better doing the bread and butter.'.
Determined he was onto a winner
he told the ECB mob over dinner,
'Lets get children to come,
They've no idea how its done,
Don't know a fast bowler from a spinner'.
And so CG continues his move,
The 'Game of Gentlemen' to improve.
His cringeworthy interview,
managed to turn Twitter blue,
The road ahead for cricket looks rocky not smooth
