Goodbye friend

A sadness we never want  to repeat

Filled with deep breaths and sighs

Sorrow that knows no bounds

Tears still in my eyes

A loss to all the cricket family,

His family much more so

The thought of season without him

Makes even more tears flow

Tributes on a monumental scale

For a man  loved & respected by all

Reading each and everyone

Makes even more tears fall

A friend to each and everyone

In 'the real' or on the air

His cheerfulness never faltered

A loss no amount of tears can repair

Goodbye DC, Cally, our friend

The voice that we know and love

 we  know you are now
on comms up above.
